Overview

Kain Miller was instructed by the client to oversee a comprehensive transformation of their 1930s home. The project encompassed the design, planning, and building regulations for a two-storey side extension, a single-storey rear extension, a loft conversion, and internal reconfiguration.

Design Vision

The brief set by the client was to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of their home while respecting its traditional charm.  Kain Miller embraced this challenge, working closely with the local authority to achieve a planning consent and crafting a contemporary design that harmoniously integrated with the original 1930s architecture.

Outcome

The result is a beautifully transformed home that meets the modern needs of a young family while preserving the integrity and charm of the original 1930s design. The seamless integration of contemporary elements with traditional style showcases Kain Miller’s commitment to thoughtful, high-quality architecture.

From the initial consultation to the final touches, they demonstrated professionalism and creativity. Our project was quite extensive and we were particularly impressed with how they managed to blend contemporary design with the traditional style of our original home.
